Embedded Parts in The Mold

The embedded parts in the mold have internal threads and a specially shaped outer diameter to fix the insert in plastic. The embedded parts are pre placed in the mold of the injection molded parts. Then close the mold and fill the area around the insert with plastic filler. These inserts can also be heated and pressed into prefabricated thermoplastic materials.
For softer and more flexible plastics, hexagonal or square inserts with deep and wide grooves can allow the plastic to flow and adhere. This process allows the manufacturing of large products, such as fuel tanks, ships, etc., so torque inserts can be of large thread sizes.
