Insert Nut

Copper nuts produced using various embossed wire materials (usually lead brass, such as H59, 3604, 3602). The embedded knurled copper nuts that we come into contact with on a daily basis are processed using precision automatic lathes. The reference standard for embedded knurled copper nuts comes from the national standard GB/T809.
The main operation method of embedded knurled copper nuts is injection molding. After heating, they are embedded into plastic parts or directly molded. If injection molding is used, the melting point of PA/NYLOY/PET is above 200 ° C. The temperature of the embedded nut rapidly increases after being melted into the plastic part. After injection molding, the plastic body quickly cools, crystallizes, and hardens. If the temperature of the embedded nut is still at a high temperature, It is possible that the copper nut may come into contact with the plastic part and start to loosen or crack. So in the injection molding of embedded nuts, copper nuts are used instead of carbon steel nuts.
There are two ways to form the external pattern of embedded copper nuts: one is to use copper raw materials to form the pattern and produce it on the equipment. Generally, the pattern of this method is straight, and the other is to use smooth copper materials to directly tap and press the pattern during the production process. This processing method can produce some non-standard sized knurled copper nuts, and the shape of the embossed pattern of embedded copper nuts can be selected by users, such as mesh pattern Various rolling patterns such as octagonal embossing and herringbone embossing.
