External Thread Blade

External threaded inserts have threads on both the outer and inner sides of the insert. Screw the blade into the pre tapped hole, or some blades may self tap threads in drilled or molded holes. Then anchor it in various ways, such as nylon locking elements. Insertions fixed with Loctite are usually known under the trade name EZLok. The thin-walled solid liner insert with the trademark name TIME-SERT is locked by rolling several internal threads at the bottom into the substrate using a special installation driver, which locks the insert xxx in place. Key locking plug-in, more commonly known as Keenserts, uses a key that is hammered into a groove through a thread to lock the plug-in. The more common trademark names for self tapping and friction locking plugins are Tap-lok or Speedserts.
